People’s interest in digital watches is impressive worldwide. Lovers of useful and practical watches changed their focus instantly from traditional watches to digital ones with their appearance. Today, almost everyone has a digital watch, either Android or IOS. Obviously, the replica industry reacted quickly to this trend and engaged in the production of imitations of the most reputable digital watches. Below, I will leave here a review of my experience with fake digital watches.
My First Experience With a Fake Watch
First of all, I must mention that it was not only my first experience but also my last one. The reason lies in the fact that the functionality of the replica Apple watch leaves a lot to be desired. After my experience with an authentic digital watch, a fake one left a bitter aftertaste. Maybe if I started with a fake from the start, the impression would have been different. Either way, a fake Iwatch cannot be compared to a genuine one and there is no reason to convince me otherwise.
The replica watch came with a wide array of functionalities. At least, that’s what it said in the instructions in its box. It has a 1.82″ HD IPS display and the design looks quite neat. This one, like an authentic one, has curved edges. I don’t know what material the manufacturers used for its construction. From the instructions, it seems that it is an aluminum case. But my gut feeling tells me it is a different material, less solid, and relatively sensitive to scratches and impacts.
So, the outer aesthetics seemed more or less acceptable. But this impression lasted exactly until the moment I turned the watch on. Once turned on, it showed me a menu with several icons I had to adjust with my finger, just like in an automatic Apple watch.
However, the problem is that the display did not respond to my touches. Or rather, it answered with difficulty. While my authentic watch responds quickly and very precisely to my touch movements, I have to press harder or repeatedly on a certain icon on the fake one.
Display Quality
Also, the pixelation of the display is terrible. Comparing the fake display with the authentic one, the image quality is very bad. The colors also leave a lot to be desired.
After I analyzed it superficially, I decided to try to connect it to my iPhone. But, surprise! I received a notification that the digital fake watch is only compatible with the phone’s Android operating system, not IOS. Myself, I was expecting such a “surprise”. But still, I was hoping for a miracle and I was relying on the advanced technologies that Chinese industries are providing. However, it turned out that this digital watch is more an impression of an Iwatch than a replica.
It seems that the manufacturers limited themselves to copying only the aesthetics of Apple watches, not the functionality. In addition, the menu and its functionality are far from the truth. While the menu and functions of a genuine Iwatch include wide Health monitoring features, Apple Pay, sending and responding to messages, etc…, this fake is only connected to pulse measurement and custom calorie tracking, blood pressure, and sleeping monitoring. All these functions are probably optimal for a 15-year-old child. But for a mature and upright man, it’s just a smoke screen.
Water Resistance
What impressed me in the description of the digital watch in its instructions is that it is waterproof. However, the manufacturer did not specify to what extent. As I took this watch as an experiment, I decided to test it in the water without any remorse. So, I got into the shower with it on my wrist. When I got out of the shower, it became slightly foggy in the interior of the display, but it got ventilated in a few minutes. The watch actually seemed waterproof initially, as it was still showing time and was functioning well.
However, the day after the experiment, the replica digital watch began to “create drama” in its functionality. First of all, it only showed the time on half the screen. The other half had become gloomy and dark. Moreover, the display’s response to touch became less and less responsive every hour. It seemed that the steam or water from the shower had started to affect all the internal digital mechanisms and my digital watch was literally “dying” every hour.
I tried to dry it with a hair dryer. I thought there was still some water left in it and maybe by drying it, I could revive it. The funny thing is that I admit that the hair dryer is not the best technique to “dry” a watch. But I had no other more suitable instruments at hand. Either way, the idea is that my Iwatch “died” completely. The fake one, I mean.
My True Love For Luxury Replica Watches
My conclusion is that a fake digital watch is a bad, very bad idea. At least this is my opinion after the experience I had. If you use an authentic Iwatch, there is no reason to ever get a fake one. Honestly speaking, it is better not to wear any watch at all than to wear such a poor-quality accessory, just to show off that you are wearing an “Iwatch”.
Probably such a watch is a good idea for teenagers who need some basic digital functions. Either way, the poor functionality and delayed response to touch tasks, as well as terrible display quality, I don’t think they are suitable even for a teenager. Finally, I see no point in fake digital watches even if they are very affordable. Their low price is their only advantage, but it is also not a sufficiently convincing reason in favor of fake digital watches.
In this context, I must admit that the replica industry is much more advanced in terms of the quality and functionality of luxury watches. I have 3 replica luxury watches. It’s a Nautilus, VC Overseas, and an Explorer one. I am delighted with the way they look and how they work. It seems that the replica industry is much more innovative in its branch of luxury watches than digital ones.
I suppose that in a few years, the replica industry will end up producing fake Iwatches as well as it produces luxury imitations. After all, fake luxury watches were also terrible a few decades ago.
Either way, luxury replica watches deserve your attention if you love time-telling accessories. However, I cannot say the same about digital fake alternatives.
